Other Things to Know

We've already gotten the question: "What do I wear??"  While we've not been clever enough to come up with a catchy descriptor for the event ("Elegant Rustic"? "Bayside Retro"?) the key things to know are that the festivities will be mobile, moving between two private homes on Cypress Point (with a few stairs along the route), and terrain will be mainly brick or asphalt. July temperatures can be unpredictable, and may drop by 20 degrees if the fog moves in. We'll do everything we can to make you comfortable, but bringing a layer is a good idea. And finally, come ready to dance -- that's the best way to keep warm!

About gifts:  you know we don't really need more stuff! So in lieu of gifts, we're asking for donations to be made to some of the organizations whose work we admire: Friends of the River and Milo Foundation

But if you really want to buy a thing, we found some stuff we like at REI and Crate and Barrel (camping and cooking -- no surprise there!)
